“We had a great time at the Maplecroft Bed and breakfast in Barre, Vermont. Our host was very accomodating and the room and breakfast were both outstanding. There was a big snowstorm while we were there, which required me to sweep off/shovel out my own car (to which I would never object). However, we then left for the day and I wonder what might have happened if we had returned and found someone else in the parking spot we had shoveled out, requiring us to do it all over again. No other guest did……

“For what we paid the room was awkward…. With the sink by the bed and the shower not I’m an enclosed room …there were cracks in t by e ceiling and cobwebs in the community space… the breakfast was very disappointing… no bacon or sausage or butter for the waffles …. “This is our fourth time in Lincoln and our first time at the Pemi Cabins. We previously stayed at hotels (Days Inn, Best Western, etc) and our stay at The Pemi Cabin has been our favorite. We were there for 8 nights. The cabin was cozy and looked recently renovated. We stayed in Cabin 6. We were a bit disappointed that the fireplace in the cabin could not be used; other than that, we loved our stay. The cabin was quiet and the staff we talked with were very friendly.
