“The inn was marvelous. The inn keeper and her husband the maintenance man were charming and responsive to our needs and kept the place immaculate. The restaurant was dissapointing. Service was terrible, eggs were over cooked. Toast was slathered in butter (I think it was butter). No salt, pepper or any other condiments were on the table and the waitress was no where to be found so we ate the meal as it was getting cold. We did not go back the next day”
“A beautiful oasis in the hill country near Fairfax, Vermont. Relaxing surroundings and the house and accommodations are beautiful and clean and spacious. The common room is very large and there are outside places to sit and relax. There are only four rooms, so it can’t really get crowded.
The hosts are generous and kind. ”

Crystal clear Lake Seymour, literally 500 steps from the lodge, offered hours of entertainment! There are a variety of rooms to choose from including a few apartment style units. Very cool property with so much to do nearby or across the road!”
“I liked the calm of the environment. Very peaceful. Staff was both friendly and helpful. The property was cute and cozy. Warm decorations. Amazing back yard view/sitting area.
-The ONLY thing I didn’t like was needing to leave Our room to have to use a separate bathroom down the Hall. Where as All other guest had a connected bathroom within their room… please note this wouldn’t have been so bothersome if the bathroom wasn’t located at the top of the stairs- with an Open View window at the……
