“I really like the location and having our own home that was historic and quaint. 2 pianos, which were both enjoyed. Staying here , you connect with the locals. You feel part of the area- not a tourist. True immersion experience. Friendly area. Park and no need to drive. Walk everywhere for everything. Groceries , dining. Views. Met lots of people in the community. Very relaxing. Beautiful historical homes. Truly a beautiful area. Great space for a musician or writer to create or anyone who wants……

“The negative was, air-conditioning was only in the bedroom. That's not in the ad. Windows are painted shut. Initially we had to open doors to cool the place but once we did we were comfortable. That was the only downside. The place was very clean. The decor was very nice. It's set off the road a little which we liked. It was quiet. We were very comfortable. It's close to Salem which is what we wanted. We would stay definitely stay again.”

It was our first time in the Northeast and we loved the quaint atmosphere of this gem of a coastal town that was matched by this lovely little property. “We loved staying with Janelle & Joel. The house truly was stunning, beautifully appointed & impeccably clean. The property was private and quiet and had everything that a group of adults and their 14 year old sons could need for a fun long weekend. The kids swam, kayaked, and fished while we enjoyed watching them from the deck. The views were picture perfect. “We stayed for the weekend- i took off one star for the hill which honestly was not too bad. We were able to walk everywhere (25k steps for 1 day!!) The best part was sitting at the table in the yard, in the shade, with the breeze and getting to sit quietly and read a book. The accomadations were wonderful and the record player was an unexpected treat. Wonderful spot, great communication which led to an amazing weekend ”
