“Very well decorated with quality items making for a cozy environment for 2. The bed was comfortable, and don't let the lack of electricity fool you... heat, hot water, a stove, and a refrigerator worked fine. The forest environment surrounded us as the warmth of the gas fire pit kept us warm. If you arrive prior to 4pm, the office staff just inside the gate directed us with a map. “We absolutely loved our stay at this fun one-bedroom cabin! It’s the perfect size for two people, with a comfy bed, a well-equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area to unwind after a day of hiking. Having Wifi with DirectTV was so nice to veg out after a long day.The location is fantastic for US20 or Cascade Pass which made it so easy get an early start on the trails. We spent our days exploring Cascade Pass (we saw mountain goats!), Thunder Creek, and Washington Pass and it was awesome to……

“Clean, quiet, and well organized property. Lots of little extra touches made it a nice place to stay. Very peaceful and secluded with a waterfall just a short walk away. The sound of the stream flowing was meditative. It was a slightly brisk morning so we jumped in the hot tub before setting out to explore Northern Cascades National Park. Host was very responsive and you can tell she likes sharing the cabin. I would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. ”

“This is the best hotel/rental house I have ever been. The WHOLE cabin (yes, not just the room) is super clean and spacious. It also has its own entrance and front & back yards. We stayed there for 2 nights. The weather wasn't nice the second day, so we were not able to hike in the North Cascade NP in the morning. We stayed in the cabin, and my 3 and 5 year-old boys were very entertained as we were able to do a lot of activities (e.g. Board games, switch's sports, tiny baseball game on the……

“The property is very nice and overlooks some animal farm land with mountains in the distance. The beds were comfy and the kitchen fully stocked with utensils. The location is very close to North Cascades park - we were hiking every day so this was very convenient. Communication was great - Steve responds very fast. We appreciated the access to washer and dryer (separate entry - to be shared by guests of both houses on the property). We also appreciated that the host left bear spray and bug spray……

“Nancy was a wonderful host. She provided all of the pertinent details necessary to make our check in and stay smooth. We loved that we could get the basics in town (gas, ice, etc...) and the drive to the park entrance was close by.”
