“I was very pleased with the property location. It was close to my family that I was visiting and walking distance to many restaurants. The property description was accurate and the accommodations were comfortable. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is there were multiple bulbs burned out in the light fixtures, some stains on the couch, and because I was not given all the correct codes to access the property in my check in instructions (there are 2 and I was only given 1). Seems like……

“Over all it is a nice small place. We stayed a couple of night. Had everything we needed. Only complain is it was a little dusty, especially under the bed. Other than that it was all pretty good. ”

“I'll say up front that I should have looked closer at the listing. We were trying to be close to family. So, location sold us on it. Pros: This property is in a good location/quiet street. The unit itself was clean. The double bed was comfortable The communication/check-in/etc. were all ok. Cons: On-street parking is challenging. The property is in an old building and it shows. The unit has been painted, but it still felt very run-down. Common/Entry hallway smelled of tobacco ... ”

“We loved the place! It’s adorable and well appointed with necessities. My only complaint (and the reason I gave four stars rather than five) is the bed. I would recommend the owners invest in an actual bed with a comfortable mattress. The sofa bed is not comfortable for sleeping. Otherwise it’s a great little place in a beautiful location, and the owners are very accommodating.”

“We had a wonderful time in PA at Swallow’s Rest West! Everything was perfect for our stay. Location, cleanliness and amenities of apartment can’t be beat! Nice, safe and quiet neighborhood! Henry was an awesome host! We visited Longwood Gardens and Kennett Square. Highly recommend this property!! We will definitely be back! ”

“I'm local to Wilmington and stayed here with my husband while our bathroom was being renovated. The apartment is adorable and in a great location, Trolley Square. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Parking can be tough, but it's a safe neighborhood, so to park a block away isn't a problem. This would be a good place to stay for someone who needed to be in Wilmington for business (there's a desk in the living room, and the wifi seemed reliable) or a couple coming here for an event or to check out……

“The location of this place is great - right by the train station, shops, and restaurants. Hosts were very welcoming and responsive. Also, great hiking trails near by. Old building with beautiful floors, very clean. Would definitely stay again.”

The location is very convenient and everything has been thought out - easy parking, clear instructions in the home, all the comforts you need - coffee, tea, toiletries. The home is very comfortable and the hosts very welcoming. We absolutely hope to stay again!”
