“What a find. My partner and I spent three nights in mid August. Talk about an undersell! The pictures and property description while accurate, simply do not capture the charm and warmth of this cabin. It was so homey, and comfortable. It reminded me of the cabins of my youth. It was everything a lake cabin should be. I've stayed in many rentals over the years that felt like a downtown loft or suburban home transplanted to a lake - so much subway tile and greige. The vibe of Meg and Wes' cabin is……

We had two families, two kids each and the home worked well. We did reach out to the owner who was responsive that the home indicated 4 bedrooms, but actually only has 3. The VRBO website/app counted a futon in the living room as a bedroom. I was not happy about this. Also, the downstairs bedroom has a spiral staircase to get to it; this is……

“Absolutely wonderful stay! It was everything we hoped for with a view! Clean, very well equipped, and a perfect location. Kayla and Chad (the hosts) were very responsive and made sure we were well accommodated. She even left us a gift card for a local coffee shop.! I would highly recommend staying at this quaint home on the river if you’re in the area. ”
