“In terms of being immersed in nature, this is a great place to stay! The owls were amazing as were the consistent views of shore birds flying up and down the river. The screened in porch was a phenomenal area to spend time when raining, buggy or too hot out. We stayed cool, dry and bug free within it. Floyd's comical information binder was incredibly helpful. “The inside space was good for our big family however, the yard/patio area was not usable due to high grass and unmaintained patio furniture. “We had a great stay! The host communicated very well and made everything easy from start to finish. The house was clean and well-maintained, with all recreational equipment available and in good condition. The grill and kitchen appliances worked perfectly, and the beds were comfortable. The view is beautiful and added to the relaxing atmosphere. The only small suggestion would be to replace the bath towels with newer ones—but overall, everything was excellent.
