“This place is awesome!! We were delighted the instant we opened the door to our room. Although we didn’t have the Oceanview, the marsh view was still nice. The suite was bright, CLEAN, and extremely inviting. The high ceilings were a nice touch. The smart TV allowed us to binge on a few of our favorite shows. Happy to see a keurig coffee machine. The beds were very comfortable. We came for an overnight girls trip and will DEFINITELY be back. We may make this our new February……

“Great place. We were in room 8 which was a big, one bedroom. The place was very clean and they have a great drink and snack bar in this unique hotel. The room was huge and has a great balcony off the bed room. We were there in February so it was really quiet. Lots of great restaurants blocks away. Highly recommend this place. ”

“The location is convenient, and the pricing is above average for the season. Overall, my experience was mediocre. The situation with the lock significantly detracted from my stay. I checked in late, having called ahead, and the initial process went smoothly. However, upon opening my door, the lock fell to the ground, leaving the door unsecured for the night. While the area appeared safe, this was understandably concerning. I informed the reception desk about the issue, and they promptly sent……

“We had such a great stay at the Hotel Portsmouth! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and although the building was old and you could hear some creaks and pipes ticking, it was not unpleasant. The old building was actually the most charming part. The amenities were excellent and everything was in walking distance. Will definitely stay there again.”

“Nice hotel in a great location, walkable downtown, However parking is very limited, the rooms are rather small think cruise ship small, and it is very loud. We were in room 10 and could hear everything outside and downstairs including the snow plow all night long. ”
