“The property did not disappoint, the listing was spot on. it is about a ten minute drive into the town of Shawnee, and about 35 minutes to OKC. You can visit sites and come back and relax on the front deck or down on the dock on the reservoir. We like to cook your own meals and the kitchen, small, has a two burner cooktop, micro/convection oven and a nice sized fridge. Made delicious breakfasts and dinners. Only thing missing would be a small laundry option if you have a long stay. One of the……

“We absolutely loved our stay at the Painted Cabin. It is super clean and very well maintained. It’s also a true tiny house! Everything we needed was provided and so much more. Two of the bedrooms are crawl in lofts but that was not a problem for us. The twin bed is in a small space below the a/c so definitely cooler than the other spaces. Not a problem but good to know. We loved our time here and will definitely be back next time we are in Guthrie. ”
