“The onsen hotel is the worst hotel I have ever stayed, no hot water in the room, very basic Ruyokan , room smells, the onsen closed during day time, very bad and not friendly reception, full additional charge for child, not half as in other onsen hotels, laptop size TV screen.m”

“Le point fort de ce ryokan est la vue époustouflante. Notre chambre avait une immense fenêtre donnant sur la montagne et forêt enneigées, avec la rivière en bas. On ne se lassait pas de prendre le thé devant. Également, les bains sont dans les plus petits qu’on ait fait au Japon (un bain intérieur et un tout petit bain extérieur) CEPENDANT c’est le bain avec la plus belle vue qu’on ait eu, étant donné qu’il n’y a pas de vis à vis donc pas de barrière. On peut admirer la même vue que depuis la……

“I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture. ”
