The view from our suite's balcony was gorgeous, and the hotel management truly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we wanted - both in the hotel and even outside the hotel with things like getting the very best with restaurants/transportation. “About a 30 minute walk to old town. Just close enough to walk and just far enough that it’s quiet, the restaurants are not tourist traps and you can park your car. Jovanna was wonderful at check-in, explaining everything about the property, how to get to town as well as food and tourist options. Breakfast and pool area are great. The pool was our safe haven when the cruise ships made old town too busy and the temperatures reached 30+ All you really to know is that I immediately added another……

“We have had a wonderful 9 days at Castello Risano. Excellent service from booking and throughout the stay. The apartments are just beautiful and so well kept, very clean with lovely furnishings and the most incredible view over the bay of Kotor. The grounds and pool area are very well maintained, there’s free parking and a short walk down the hill to the local shops, restaurants and harbour. Local sites are easily accessible and a short drive to Perast and Kotor which are both beautiful. Anna……

“We lived in this hotel for 3 days, but had very bad living experience there. The hotel is not clean: the smell of sewer filled the whole room when we entered into the room every time . The quilt cover is very dirty, we found the smudge on the side which touch body, then put it on the prominent place of the bed hope house keeper can change one for us, but it shocked us that house keeper just turn the smudge side into inside!!!!! On the hand, the hotel has big problem on their hot water……
