“We had a wonderful time at the Nauvoo Grand B & B. Laurie, the host was an amazing cook and host. Warm reception every time she saw us. We had a mix up in reservations at another hotel and ended up here, we are so happy we did and would do it again in a heartbeat.”

“Lily Pad #1 was impressive. The revitalization of the space was very tastefully done. It created a spark to do the same for several of the other structures in the area that just need a lift up. Some more than others, but they are ALL worth saving! The area could have so much potential! I just wish I were younger to take on some of the projects myself! I digress...Lily Pad 1 was very comfortable and the communication with the owner was great. The only thing that may be a deterrent for some is……

“Inez was A-Mazing!!! She was so sweet and kind and made us feel at home immediately. On our last day our departure time was moved up unexpectedly and her and David still made us breakfast even tho it was an hour earlier than originally planned. The food was delicious!wa son loved egg”

“Amazing antiques & flowers all around mansion & carriage house. They are still working on completing the renovations which was good for us because we got to go thru all the rooms & see all the furnishings. When we arrived Expedia hadn't notified staff (Dave & Pete) that we were coming but we had made reservations within an hour-ish before. So, our room hadn't been cleaned. We went to dinner & came back to a clean room. We really didn't like the shower, the curtain sticks to your body no matter……

“We rented the "Squirrel's Nest" because we were in Burlington for a Celebration of Life. In the midst of this "sad" occasion, we experience a comfortable place to stay and delightful hosts.. And delicious breakfasts!....we will definatelystay definately ”
