“I initially came up to Chicago from Indiana and had found this place to stay for my duration. The area was lovely, arrangements were excellent and I loved the cottage feel to the Bed N’ Breakfast next door. If I’m ever in Chicago for another concert or to see more of the place, I’m coming back to Dorothy’s.”

“If you love anything Victorian this is the place for you! The woodwork was exquisite! We had a lovely stay. Barbara was a wonderful hostess and made us a delicious breakfast! Fresh fruit with whipped cream. Lemon poppy seed muffins, raspberry kuken, ham and cheese omelets, OJ, coffee and tea! We enjoyed chatting with her and finding out about the history of the house!”

“We had a wonderful time at the Nauvoo Grand B & B. Laurie, the host was an amazing cook and host. Warm reception every time she saw us. We had a mix up in reservations at another hotel and ended up here, we are so happy we did and would do it again in a heartbeat.”

“The Cloran Mansion was the perfect stay for our little babymoon getaway. We stayed in Anne’s room which was just enough space for us two. The room came stocked with water and there’s a community area with a Brita, microwave, ice and coffee machines. The most impressive part of all were the two breakfasts we had. Paul and his team went above and beyond and everything was so delicious! Definitely would stay here again and looking forward to it! ”
