“While the air conditioning was not cooling real well, the host provided multiple fans which made our stay more comfortable. We loved the location and general comfort of the apartment!”

“Super clean and efficient studio. The bed was comfortable. It is in the basement, so be prepared to hear footsteps upstairs. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and some cookware and coffee pot, but there are no basic food items (oil, morning coffee supply, etc). We weren’t planning to cook, but if you are, make sure you bring everything necessary. ”

“We had a great stay. Our host was very communicative from the start and made accessing the property very easy. The place was immaculate and each room had its own air conditioner, which was nice considering it was in the 90’s outside for our whole trip. The property is in a perfect location, with a Whole Foods and a Walgreens less than a block away. “Great stay, no problems with the house what so ever, neighbor has a great culture feel, amazing elote place down the road along with 6 Flags and a fairly short trip to the city. Only complaint is that it was listed as the whole house but there were people staying below in the basement, did not effect our stay whatsoever though. Had a really good time and would stay again!”

“Stayed overnight at Mill Street Suite while exploring Starved Rock and Mathiessen state parks. It was a cozy and comfortable experience in an extremely convenient location next to both state parks (just a few miles down the road) and on Mill Street next to several eating and drinking establishments. Went to Bruce and Ollie’s across the street for coffee, sandwiches, and ice cream multiple times during our stay. The suite was well appointed and updated with all the amenities anyone can need. “The location is very convenient—just a 15-minute walk from Boystown and 6 minutes from some great breakfast spots. One mattress should be replaced, as it is quite worn. Everything else was fine. I'm not a big fan of noisy window AC units, especially since I’m a light sleeper; even with earplugs, the noise was still bothersome.
