“Rented this cute little cabin space for a weekend get-a-away after the hectic holidays. Just me, the wife and the dog. we were looking for a quick get-a-away from Kansas CIty and It was just about perfect for what we wanted...and expected. The fresh 3 inch's of snow that arrived the morning we traveled into town made it all the more perfect. Great view from the deck of the James River in the winter, with the new snow blanketing the trees. The Hot Tub was awesome in the evenings after long……

“We had 5 adults and 4 kids, 1 being special needs. This house was absolutely perfect! Great location! We had 1 issue with the washer, I text them at 11pm, they responded right away and had someone there the next day! We highly recommend this property and we would definitely book here again!”

“My family stayed in this cabin during Christmas. We were so glad they had up a Christmas tree already and lights decorated so we never had to do a thing. We had a large group with five children, the separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked out wonderfully! It was a little cramped in the living room and kitchen area, but of course we had so many presents and toys! Location was great, a short drive to anything. If you come for Christmas, I would highly recommend Shepherd of the Hills. We only ate……
