However, the highway noise is always present, so you're aware that you're not actually "away from it all."Additionally, if the venue up the hill is hosting an event you will hear all of their music, the emcee, etc. Wasn't really a problem for us, but others might prefer complete quiet and only nature sounds.The room was great, the bed was incredibly comfortable. “When I got checked into my room, I found out the air conditioner fan wasn't working. I went back down to the front desk. They immediately found me a new room (upgraded at no extra cost). The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There is not an elevator so that's a negative but I made it. Some great antique shops that are right there. ”
