“We stayed in the 2-bedroom condo and it was lovely! Just the right amount of space for a family of 4. The condo was very clean and spacious. Property was conveniently located right across the road from the beach. My only complaint would be that perhaps the mattress (or mattress pad) could be replaced as it was a little dipped down in the middle)... but otherwise, loved this property!”

“Deborah is lovely and very helpful. The apartment is clean and in a great location. This was our second time at the property and we will go back. ”

“The house was clean and nice for an older structure. It appears that the surrounding land is used for boat storage or something. Didn’t bother us but was unexpected. The house itself was clean and the property owner didn’t bother us which is super nice. We would stay again! ”

The location was spectacular, the layout of the apartment was exactly what we wanted.We did have a little bit of a problem getting in, but once that was Accomplished, we could not have enjoyed a better time. “The State Room was a nice place to stay. The neighborhood is residential, with a nearby renovated mill that contains a local brewery about 2 blocks away. The neighborhood begs to be explored for the local businesses and historical buildings. Parking is on the street. The neighborhood is to fairly quiet except for a small local tavern that closes at 1:00 am. But the neighborhood is quiet in less than hour. I would definitely stay again.”

“Even though this is a third floor, it was very easy to manage with frequent landings. My significant other is 84 years old and he did just fine. The apartment is nicely decorated in each room. Plenty of hot water. My only two wishes were firstly,check out time could be later so we could get up leisurely and make breakfast. “Very sweet place for short-term stay. Once on the island, owner was very communicative. The listing is accurate - if you want to cook meals, keep in mind that there is no stove, hot-plate, or toaster, so it worked for us for a weekend (although would have loved a toaster!) The only reason for the 4 stars on cleanliness was because there was a pair of socks from previous renter left in the bathroom, but otherwise clean! It was great with our dog - very comfortable, not overly precious but still……

“perfect new england stay. clean and quiet. ”

“We were in Newport for a wedding - same timing as Boat Show. We stayed in Portsmouth and it was PERFECT!!!!!!! Sunset Cove restaurant was just across the street - breakfast was great and lunch outside - bar, live music - spectacular. We weren't in the Apartment that much but when we were it was GREAT!!!!!”

“The apartment was very clean and well appointed, and the beds comfortable. Our host made check-in easy and responded immediately when we had a question. The location is good, an easy drive to Newport and other attractions.”
