“Lovely quiet area. We had all that we needed. I did see the picture of the rental, and on me that I didn’t consider the stairs to the apartment. We are 76-79 and when wet the stair were a bit scary for us.”

“The house very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The unit was very clean and just like the photos. Check in was very simple and quick. The surrounding area was very quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. The only improvement i would suggest is the shower. There is an over 1 foot step up into the shower. Not bad on the way in but difficult on the way out. The handle on the wall helps. One step would solve the issue. Overall we loved it. ”

“The property was beautiful! We did not get to stay as long as we wanted but we will definitely be coming back to this little cottage. It was very clean and decorated well! The host was immediately responsive but we should note that there was absolutely no cellphone service which made communicating with guests a little difficult. ”

“What a gem of property tucked in the woods! The 2 story apartment was fully stocked, clean and very comfortable. The layout of the guest suite, completely separate from the main residence, allowed for privacy and a relaxing getaway! “An absolutely horrible experience! My family (2 adults and my 6 year old son) had reserved this so-called hotel for $284 in June for a 13th Aug stay. After a full day at the Berkshires, we checked-in at 6 pm. This place is in a terrible location (unpaved roads, still-in construction steps). To our horror we found that the room had No Air-Conditioning. It was 90 degrees outside and all they had in the room was a ceiling fan. There were bugs in the room due to the heat. “This was a cozy tucked away location that seemed far away from everything which was exactly what we wanted. The host was extremely communicative before and during the stay. The house had fresh linens and towels as well as basic cleaning supplies. It was cozy for a wintery weekend in. We enjoyed snowshoeing on the frozen lake! Pet-friendly was a huge plus! ”
