“Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. “We stayed for one night, we could not fault a thing, the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble, beautiful and clean throughout, we had an evening meal which was absolutely amazing, such reasonable a reasonable price, and the portions were huge! We stayed in the Bolton room which was very clean and comfortable, there was plenty of tea and coffee,and some lovely toiletries to ise too, luxury towels and bedding too.
