“We had an amazing week of swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more. The water was great and the view from the camp was unbeatable. The hot tub was refreshing each night and the air conditioning was a plus during the hottest part of the day. The deck was a perfect spot for every meal. There were lots of water toys and life jackets. There was privacy from neighbors and the lake was extremely quiet during our stay. Not a lot of crazy boaters. “With one kid already in college locally and the other on their way there in August we have got to know this neck of the woods quite well in recent years. Driftwood Cottage provides a perfect base for visits to the area with great access to Augusta and Waterville while sitting in the idyllic Belgrade Lakes region.We don’t visit Maine for fancy, we want practical, comfortable, clean and convenient and this house that in spades. We also greatly appreciated the dog-friendliness!Hosts could not……
