“This is a quiet cabin in the country which was the perfect base to visit Shawnee National Forest from. It had A/C, WIFI, and QUIET which are all the things I was looking for. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and our hosts were great to bring over a new coffee maker when the one in the cabin stopped working. It was a nice and relaxing trip with easy access to dining and scenery. Really enjoyable.”

“The property was very and peaceful. Everything we needed for our stay was provided. Our host had put a porch light on for us and a lamp inside so we would"nt have to be in the dsrk. The air was also turned on so the home would be cool for us. There is a washer and dryer as well as an ironing board and iron. We were very pleased with our stay. I would definately stay again if i was in Carrier Mills. ”

“The home is comfortable and fully accessible. We felt well cared for and had all that we needed from our responsive host. We enjoyed the 5 bedrooms, space to gather, and great kitchen. The only outside issues are Mount Vernon's diminished air quality from industry and being close to an active train track. Neighborhood is safe and attractive. We would go back in a heartbeat.”
