“Just an overnight stay for us. Our children loved the duplo, tent, drafts set and the water pressure in the shower! A nice wee set up with a classic bach feel.”

“Great place. Had friends from Japan who just loved the peace and the views of the property. Seven of us housed comfortably. Very easy from booking to getting into the house and leaving instructions. Wouldn't hesitate to book again should the need arise.”

“The place is nice but wrongly advertised. In stayz it said 3 bedroom for 6 adults. But when arrived they weee only 5 bedding. 2 queen and a single. Where is the sixth person going to sleep. He had to check into a motel nearby. When contacted the owner he said, you can see the picture on advertisement, only single. Totally not satisfied with explaining the situation. Then goes quite until I checked out. Please read the before booking and get confirmation. But the place is brand new and very clean……

“We had a lovely peaceful and relaxing stay. The property was easy to find, had it's own private entrance and a beautiful garden. The property had everything we needed, it was comfortable and clean with a great the bathtub was divine.We loved the closeness to Browns Bay and Long Bay the local shopping centre. ”

“Location suited us but the driveway is very steep making parking hard.Beautiful views, but the house needs some dating. Blinds falling off the windows, no instruction manual, no dishwashing liquid. Beds very hard. Very steep internal stairway.”

“We absolutely loved our stay as a volleyball team at the grand retreat and could not have asked for better accommodation. It is super flash, spacious, plenty of bathrooms and sleeping options, quiet location and perfect to access the motorway, beach and sports stadium on the Northshore. It offered amazing options for our girls to keep busy playing basketball, enjoying the spa and sauna, singing karaoke, watching movies and all sitting around to share meals and play card games.
