“We had a wonderful stay at Perla’s place. The area is peaceful and just a short walk to a beautiful, quiet lake. We saw lots of wildlife around, which made the experience even more special.Perla is a great host. She replies very quickly and has thoughtfully provided everything you might need in the house. The home itself is clean, cozy, and has enough space for a comfortable stay.We loved the outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view and sounds of nature.Highly recommend this……

“We had a great stay, and I appreciated the host's willingness to flex with us to make all work well! A very clean, nicely appointed space inside, and a usable patio and lawn out back that served our visiting grandchildren nicely.Note: the home is on a reservation, about 20 min from any businesses or restaurants. The street is less than pristine and manicured, but is very close to the water. We saw Bald Eagles as we walked the shoreline. Excellent host!!”

“Fantastic home, fantastic homeowners, and fantastic stay! We stayed two nights at Kingfisher, and it was absolutely wonderful. “Everything was modern, recently renovated and exceeded expectations. The kitchen, dining and family areas were well appointed and allowed us to provide a great experience for everyone. While the property is not remote and in the country, we still saw familes of deer, racoons, bunnies and squirrels in the backyard to add to the fun. “This is a beautiful cottage stocked with every amenity you might need. Plenty of extra linens, paper products, basic toiletries, etc that are not always provided but that make vacation so much more stress free. John made the entire process, from check-in throughout our entire stay, so seamless, and he made it clear that he was available day or night for any issues that might arise. Definitely one of our best rental experiences ever! If we return to Orcas Island, we will definitely be returning……

“Lovely home with a beautiful view of Lake Whatcom in a quiet residential neighborhood. Enjoyed the daily visit from the deer and some does had fawns with them. The house was well stocked with everything needed including laundry soap, paper goods, coffee, etc. It was a convenient home base to visit the many other areas and take a ferry out of Anacortes to the San Juan islands. Great trip for us and would definitely stay here again! ”
