“We loved our anniversary weekend at this Vrbo! It was in a nice, secluded area close to town. The owners were very friendly upon arrival, and then gave us our space for the rest of our stay. We had concerns about this not being a private location, but the two homes are definitely soundproofed. Although we could smell their dinners being made lol, and thought about joining them. “Loved the large screened porch and private yard! Inside the cabin was clean and comfortable. It is the only place on the last hundred yards or so of a dead end road. A short walk from the Mississippi River and a 5 minute drive or 25 minute walk to a beautiful State Park with great hiking.
If you are a light sleeper the trains might be an issue but we thought it was cool to have those distant train whistles.”

“We really enjoyed your loft ! Plenty of space for the 5 of us. We felt right at home & loved the location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted, except of course Granddad Bluff. “Perfect for our visit. The host is responsive and accommodating. House was clean and spacious, and had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. Steps away from Parrot State Park walking trail. A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. “This and many other hotels owned by similar owners have given the poorest customer service for online reservations. I ordered a room with a King sized bed, but was presented a room with two queens. They tried to make me pay twice even though I told them I paid through VRBO. That was an absolute fiasco. I could go on. It wasn't a nice stay. ”
