“My husband and I stayed the weekend to get away from the business of life. We loved sitting by the fire, stargazing, and listening to the owl's chatter. The bed was comfortable, and the cabin was clean and cozy. We would love to stay again! ”

“It was fine. Door code given was not correct so we had to call the property manager (big company, not just a homeowner). That got taken care of quick. House is fine, a little janky. There was only one trash can in the entire house. Definitely needed one in the bathroom. No rags for showers. A remote was broken in the main room. Saw a mouse run in the kitchen one day. We're not fancy people so that stuff didn't really bug us. I'm kind of annoyed by the not-so-veiled threat in the description that……

A quick drive takes you to a cute little downtown area with plenty of options for a drink or lunch. We had a nice dinner at Sullivans Supper Club. Would stay again. Was so glad we could bring our pup! Thank you. ”

“Was there for a weekend furneral ”

“We stayed at a wonderful Vrbo right on the river. It was a beautiful 3 bedroom flat with a 4 season room and a large deck. It had a stairway down to a fishing pier. We got there and it was 80 degrees. Beautiful fishing weather. We caught some walleye and perch. The next day the weather was horrrible. We couldn’t fish much but enjoyed the rental immensely. It is great for fishing, relaxing and so much more!! ”

“This and many other hotels owned by similar owners have given the poorest customer service for online reservations. I ordered a room with a King sized bed, but was presented a room with two queens. They tried to make me pay twice even though I told them I paid through VRBO. That was an absolute fiasco. I could go on. It wasn't a nice stay. ”

“Loved the cottage! Only complaint is we could at times hear the people in the next cottage thru shared wall. And loud trains at night. Loved the neighborhood, places you can walk. Short drive into cute town and state park. ”

“The BRD Nest was a great place for our big family group to stay. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for privacy and nice open common areas for gathering. Can’t beat the view of the river from the windows and deck! ”
