“We have stayed at Boxwood Lodge several times over the past two years. Love the location, walkable to town. Rooms are very nice. Nothing extravagant, just clean and comfortable. Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But are totally fine for a night or two. Staff is very friendly ”

“The receptionist was so nice and house keepers did great job. Room was so clean and comfy. We stay one night with my kids. The manager bring extra small bed for kids. Every one slept well at night!!!”

“Loved the little town of blowing rock we stayed inn. Mountainaire inn pretty room was good for 2 people. Only thing is we wish we had a fridge n microwave Loved being able to walk around town to eat, look around and shopping. Also had a great bike ride up in Boone.”

“This is an older property, but it is well maintained. Things like decor, the bathroom and furniture aren’t to higher level franchise competitors. But you aren’t paying those prices either. Great view from every room. I’d gladly stay here again if the opportunity arose.”

“Booked thru third party. Office smelled like smoke and we were immediately told when I presented my id..no.locals.We live 30 minutes past robbinsville therefore an hour plus away. .hhhhmmmm. They luckily made a concession. Seemed pretty clean in the room. Unfortunately...the sink didn't really drain and toilet made some odd noise. Also...2 hairs on soap dish we can't claim. Can't really recommend. ”

“The Carolina Motel was great! Clean and comfortable with friendly staff who worked hard to give us a great stay at the motel. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed including a very comfy bed. My only reason for the 4 instead of 5 is that, because it is a little older, it had a tiny bit of a musty smell like many hotels of this age and type do. However, we felt it was a great value and very positive experience and would definitely stay here again. Thanks Carolina Motel staff!”

“The Asheville Inn was a clean hotel with very nice and helpful staff. Our room was fresh and clean. The bed linens and towels were clean and fresh also. It is not a 5 star resort but for the price, it delivers. We would stay there again. ”

Our room was clean and comfortable. Ryne was an excellent host. When he discovered I'm from NYC we had a great time discussing Broadway shows and his familial show-biz connections. ”
