“I give this place 3 stars, its a nice place with a good amount of room but there are a few issues. Our stay was Monday - Friday, just 2 adults. Pros - lots of room. Cons - no ac. There is a portable ac unit on wheels in the bedroom however, the exhaust vent goes behind a curtain to the window but not outside. There is no way to open the window for the exhaust vent to take the hot air outside so it just pumps all the hot air back into the room. Be prepared to wake up at 7:30am every morning……

“Overall, we were happy with our stay. We were there in the winter, so we didn't get to enjoy the lake. The house was great as a launch point between Boston and the mountains.The house is literally on the lake. Water touches the lake side of the house. When we were there, the lake was frozen and beautiful.The house was well stocked and perfectly ready for us. There's plenty of parking. It's an older house, so the ceilings can be low and the floors are sometimes uneven. But the main room is……

“Great house for me and my wife and two adult daughters, plus our two dogs.Everything about the house is wonderful and adaptable to groups of various sizes. The house is big enough that everyone can have their own space for reading, working etc. There is a great family room as you enter, as well as a sun room in front and very nice dining room and kitchen. Comfortable beds and very nice bathrooms. Dogs loved the easy access to the spacious fenced-in yard. Owner lives onsite and responded……

“This place is absolutely fantastic — the owners have put so much thought and care into their place, not just how it’s decorated, but also all the little amenities, including a “just in case” drawer with all the things you don’t know you might need. The geese are adorable, a such a fun thing to come back to, the honey is DELICIOUS, and it’s just the right distance from Boston proper to make it a great option for a city visit stay, especially if you want something more restful than in the busy……

“My brother and I stayed while we were visiting family. We found the home clean and comfortable with easy access to the highways we needed. It provided a cozy relaxing atmosphere after a day of running. Mary, the host responded quickly to questions and was very easy to work with. All in all, a great stay. Will rent again when I the area. ”
