“Our stay was a great one! The location was perfect and the lake access, with private beach and kayaks, was a huge bonus for my kids. The cabin was a good size for our family of four. We wanted to be close to Camp of the Woods, but be on our own meal schedule, so we could not have had a better location. Being right next to the Speculator Inn was another bonus. Check-in and out was easy, communication was great with the owner. We're hoping to come back again!”

“This was our second time at this cottage. We enjoyed it fully. Dan was very helpful, came over to welcome us and answer any questions we had. The cabin is stocked with just about anything one would need and we find it very comfortable.”

“A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

We loved hanging out on the deck and took full use of the comfy furniture under the covered part of the deck on many afternoons and evenings. “This is a beautiful cottage in the woods and you really feel like you are out there! You are only a few min down the road to Wells though. The cottage was gorgeous, every room and very comfortable. Everything was there, we wanted for nothing. We spent a fair amount of time in the gazebo playing games, again very nice and also used the firepit. A short ride by some deer in the woods will take you to wells. A nice beach for the kids, w lifeguards. Uncle carls coffee is a great find here……
