There was an area wide power outage when we arrived due to a big storm. The owner had taken the time to hook up a generator so we had a light and power to the refrigerator. Power was back on in a couple of hours. We would absolutely stay there again. Our dog absolutely loved the front deck overlooking a view of the lake through the trees.”

We were within walking distance of shopping and dining, which was perfect for us. Also, this was a ski vacation for us and we were only minutes from Oak Mountian which was very convenient. “A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”

We had a nice fire and enjoyed our stay. Our suggestions for improvement. The light in the main room was very bright. A dimmer light switch would have been appreciated. Would like to have had a reading light on both sides of the bed.”

“The house is absolutely beautiful with great amenities for all ages. Our three boys (ages 11, 13 & 15) forgot all about their electronics for the 5 days we stayed. Plenty to do with the basement game room, pedal boat, kayaks, tree swing and hours of fishing. The lake was very quiet and felt as if it was all ours. Jen (owner) was very responsive leading up to and during our stay, answering any questions we had. The family has already expressed their desire to go back again in the next year or……
