“We stayed here as a central location for a small family get-together. The host was very responsive to a couple of questions we had before booking. Check-in was very smooth and we enjoyed our gathering very much. The house has a gathering area and one or two bedrooms with a bath on each side, which worked very well for our group which contained some early risers and some who wanted to sleep in. Beautiful view, had us wishing it had worked for our schedules to come during warmer weather to……

“Such a charming spot right on the lake! Direct access to the water, beautiful views, close to a bunch of fun bars and restaurants, and an easy drive to Devil’s Lake, Wisconsin Dells, and Madison. We stayed for a long weekend with our six month old, and it was great! Joe, the owner, is so friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!”

“Everything was great, clean, quiet, easy check in. The only reason I gave 4 starts instead of 5 is because the bed in the master was hard & uncomfortable. I think a mattress topper would have helped. Also the address on the front of the building was not lit up. It was hard to see after dark. Great place though. I would recommend. ”

“Good place to stay for the night. However, there were a few things that would have made it better:1. In the second bathroom, there was no cold water for a shower. 2. In the main bathroom, there was very low water pressure with the shower. I wouldn’t know what to do to fix that, but a qualified plumber may be able to help.3. A few little added amenities would have been helpful and nice. Things like paper towels, Kleenex tissues, etc. ”

“We didn’t spend much time in the house. Got in late and left early. But the house was clean and easy and we were close to downtown, which is what we wanted. ”

“The house itself was very charming and comfortable but a bit cluttered with lots of knick knacks and glassware. Nice location with easy parking in the alley behind the house. It is on a relatively busy road, but traffic was only an issue during normal rush hour times. The thermostat was set too warm (winter visit) and we were not able to figure out how to lower the temperature - luckily there were fans available in the bedrooms. ”
