“Great location- 2 clean cabins and great view of the pond! Off the beaten path. Busier road then expected so walking between the cabins with smaller children would have to be supervised - limited grocery storage for the five of us - later check in the most and earlier check - out! Fans kept us cool - beds comfortable ! Overall a few flaws but one of our favorite picks to date!”

“The Homestead cabin is a true gem! We felt instantly relaxed and at home, nestled in the peaceful woods with stunning ocean views just a short walk away. The mossy trails were enchanting, and watching the two Daisys play on the beach was a highlight. Thank you, David and Carolyn, for creating such a welcoming and special place. “Driftwood Cottage was the ideal lodging for our latest vacation trip to coastal Maine. A gorgeous, quiet location near Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle, and Acadia National Park and a charming, cozy accommodation for two. Our host Jane had fully prepared the cottage for our two-week stay and responded promptly to our few queries. It was a lovely place and time. We look forward to our next visit. ”

“Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again.”

“Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets.”

“If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside cabin to retreat and relax in nature, this is the one to book! Plenty of space for 6 adults with clean and comfortable rooms. Well stocked kitchen so you can cook up if you want. Lots of thoughtful extras and plenty of firewood. Canoes were lots of fun too! We didn’t want to leave. Also not far from Camden which is the perfect little seaside town. Highly recommend this place to anyone!”

“Our accomodations were outstanding. Anytime you book into a pet friendly property and you are not pet owners, the uncertainty lingers until you arrive. Our stay was over the top. The property was clean and welcoming. We could not tell that a pet was ever present. This property is 5 star for anyone.”

“Super cleanly. Great size two bedrooms. Lovely outdoor space. Amazing amenities in the bathrooms and kitchen. Really a perfect place to stay in Maine. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning some time in the future.”
