“The property is a 1842 inn. The welcoming lobby with a fireplace and bar (no service) set up is a great place to sit so you are not locked in the room, especially in the cold weather. We had the inn to ourselves as it was off season. (Two colleagues attending a conference in a closeby town) I am sure it is lovely in the summer with several places to sit and enjoy the outside as well as a short walk to the beautiful shore of Lake Huron!
