“A relaxing vibe. It was hot so a lot of time was spent in the pool. The kids were easy to watch, and didn’t want to go anywhere else. The dog loved it. The supermarket was close and the BBQ was used each night. The wisteria provided shade and the stars were glorious. 5/5 from us. Thanks for sharing your magical place - much appreciated ”

“Property is an ideal location away from the main activity on the Island but close enough to enjoy everything the island has to offer. Great place, wonderful views, quiet and peaceful with all the amenities. The advantage of having a car in with the property is significant enabling you to get out and about without relying on taxis or buses - gives you the freedom to enjoy the island.”

“Warmly welcomed though allowed privacy. Everything we needed was provided. Very comfortable beds. Great having the 2 studios. Easy access and parking near the door without steps to climb. Lovely garden area. Spotlessly clean. Surprisingly quiet at night as on a busy road which meant we were central and walking distance to shop, takeaways, bakery etc. Short drive to city and waterfront and Pukekura Park and river walks. Great value! Thank you so much for making our stay most enjoyable.”

“We had a fantastic stay at this property. It’s incredibly quiet and private, offering a peaceful retreat. The house is spotless, comfortable, and features a fully stocked kitchen, which made it easy to cook our meals.The location is perfect, with a short walk to both Oneroa Beach and Black Pool Beach. There are also plenty of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores nearby. Plus, it’s very easy to reach by bus from the ferry terminal, with the bus stop conveniently located right at the house.A……

“Right around the corner from Waiteti Bay. Fly-fished at the stream inlet. Beautiful walk from the cottage to Rotorua Town Center. Clean and comfortable lodgings.”

“Had a fantastic time and magic location. Comfy beds etc. Definitely pleased we bought a 4WD. There were SUPS that looked like they could be used by guests (not locked) - would have bought wetsuits if we had known. Highly recommend if you want to get away from it all!”

“We loved our stay - Richard the owner was great at communicating with us, the property was as advertised and it is in a great location. Quick and easy to catch the bus to town or wander down to Hataitai village. The house is in a peaceful spot with lots of greenary and birds so it’s super relaxing. We also loved the open fire on a cold evening. ”

“We loved returning to Pukeko Cottage. We were last here 5 years ago. It is such a comfortable place to stay, in a beautiful bush setting. The trees had grown a lot and we enjoyed exploring various places on the Kapiti Coast. ”

“Surprised to find out there are three ensuite (3 washroom + 1 disable washroom) in the house. Originally the website stated only have 2 washroom. The environment was nice, facing the wine yards. It has a jacuzzi and bbq area which was nice to try. Overall the house was good for our families. And we tried the fine dining in the restaurant also - service & food was good. If there are more clothes hangers and hook for clothes - that will be great.”
