“We loved our stay and the central / gated location was perfect! The view from all of the rooms balconies face the water to enjoy the sunset and it’s small enough to feel very private. Loved the bar restaurant, The Black Siren, next door! The service, food and drinks were perfect! Yes, it a bit dated but we knew that and it added to the fishing village vibe. We would definitely stay again! ”

“Love this place! Very friendly and secluded. Not your typical resort-look elsewhere if that’s what you want. But if you want a friendly private sailing camp where you hang out with other fun people and like to sail and kayak, this is absolutely it! The use of the sailboat alone more than pays for the room.”

“The property was clean new and no issues, beds were comfortable, the cons were there was no toaster, no big pot to make a family pasta dinner, just small pots, only 5 keurigs of coffee that didn’t even give my husband and I two cups a piece, and I didn’t really like that we only had one towel and facecloth per person, so we had to reuse everything the next night. And there is a little cement patio in back but no chairs, just a thought! The owners did give us an hour late check out at 11 without……

“We stayed a week in the wonderful resort at Kawama. The lagoon was right in front of our unit. There were beautiful tropical fish in the lagoon as well as tarpons and lobster! The 2 pools were heated and delightful to swim in. We love walking out to the end of the jetty each evening to watch the sunset. It was a fantastic place to spend a week and soak up the sun.”
