My only reservation is the close town all seemed to shut down at 18.30 which was a shame but not the hotels fault

“Room comfortable , very good value my only pronlem was the steep stairs to my room and for some weird reason other guests found it a great place to stand outside my door late at night and shout at each other. My room was lacking a remote control for the tv, however was on holuday so not really needing tv, bathroom was massive and shower was nice with hot water although not very powerfull. Bed was confortable but backed onto the ventilation for the building so could be a bit noisy when on.……
“Although we only stayed for one night we really enjoyed our stay. The property is quiet, well located, very cosy and welcoming. Staff are without exception lovely, friendly and helpful. We have stayed at other Chestnut group properties and they have all been lovely although the online systems can sometimes be glitchy. This is not the fault of the staff at the property who worked hard to resolve a minor issue.”
“Right on the water and a boat yard next to the hotel a children's play area an outside area next to the bar boat owners to talk to. A good breakfast. Food available Tuesday to Sunday lunchtime. ”
