“Very clean, plenty of space. We did not venture upstairs so can’t comment on that, but everything was as described. It was absolutely freezing when we arrived, and most of the wood pieces were large, so chopping wood in the dark was not in our plans. Perhaps the cleaner could have turned on the kitchen area heater for a bit before guests arrive. As soon as we unpacked and got a fire going, we sat down to watch the projection tv, and discovered that none of the living room outlets were working.……

He encouraged us to explore the property and felt genuinely very welcoming. The grounds themselves are quite beautiful and their gardens are incredible! I did get bit by a lot of mosquitoes so I'd bring a citronella candle next time! Would definitely come back here. ”

“We rented the house as two of our daughters live in the area making get together very easy. Our third daughter was visiting from Texas and also wanted to visit with her best friend, so the size and location were perfect.Many deer first thing in the morning and then in the afternoon we were entertained by a rafter of turkeys. The view was very nice and you were just far enough away from towns and traffic. Very relaxing.”
