“It was pretty much as it was advertised no issues at all other than maybe the TV was a little hard to navigate through and I think the back door didn't have a lock on it other than that it was superb”

“We had a great stay at the Hummingbird House! It was peaceful, quiet and a great place to unplug. There was convenient laundry on site and Tal and Audra were communicative and very kind and helpful. They even dropped off sweets for New Year’s Eve after asking if we had any dietary restrictions, which we do. Although the home feels secluded there is a grocery store as well as Petco only 15 minutes away. Downtown Grass Valley and Nevada City are fun to explore and also nearby! There is another……

“Walls were dirty. Didn’t seem like anyone cleaned the shower doors. Bed was hard and lumpy and uncomfortable. No AC so hot. I only stayed one night out of my 2 nights there. But there were not a lot of options.”

“This is a perfect place to stay when visiting the Auburn, Grass Valley, Nevada City area for a long weekend.Small but cosy. Quiet, out-of-the way place in a pastoral setting . . . Hillsides; Oaks; Pines; Pond; Geese; Ducks; Boats; Kayaks; Views. Not a stay all day kind of place but nice to come back to after an out-and-about day.Host was gracious with welcome signs and clear use guidelines; Quarters were well maintained with nice kitchen and dining area. Only drawback is one small bathroom……

“We were unable to find the property and had no response from the host after an email regarding conflicting emails with two different check in times. We were on a wild goose chase with our navigation leading us to 3 different areas all with either a dead end road or locked gate! Frustrating- Would recommend no one to rent this place in the future! also would recommend Vrbo/expedia have a way to contact host directly for times like this!”
