“ This is an adorable beach cottage, very clean, with a private beach on the other side of the street, directly infront of the house. Vincente was very prompt to reply to any questions, and the outside shower was fantastic! Bring your bikes!! Really a great host, thank you for sharing your home with us!”

“Quiet and cozy. Clean, up to date interior. The bed is extremely comfortable. This is obviously a secondary structure on the property which has been renovated into a cottage. This is more of an in-law suite airbnb situation rather than a vacation rental. Take note: THIS COTTAGE IS IN SOMEONE'S BACK YARD, and you can see directly into the primary house's windows. “Our family of six adults truly enjoyed our week at this lovely vacation spot. The water is very clear. The home has everything you need and more. We enjoyed breakfast in the screen room, looking over the dock and watching the heron. The lake is very peaceful, making for great kayaking and paddle boarding as well as cruising on the pontoon boat. Great sunset views. “I reserved this cottage for a one-night stay after visiting with friends and before flying home to Colorado. It is exactly as described on VRBO and is a perfect retreat. It's very well finished, located on the water, surrounded by green grass, trees, and many birds, and it is very tranquil. It is also very well located. It was perfect! “I cannot give this home enough stars...truly excellent. Scott is an attentive gem of a man. He even brought us firewood :) A quiet property with GREAT neighbors; we met them all. One couple came over with a baked banana bread & we sent her home with a flounder dinner ! The house was sparkling clean & welcoming. The mattress & pillows in the bedroom are a dream, as is the L shaped couch with the GIANT television. There are 4 kayaks!!! Be prepared with water shoes that are good on rocks/mud……

“We arrived by ferry for a two day stay. The house is just up from the ferry in a good location with nice views of the bay. One thing I would have liked to know before booking is that there is a boil alert for the island meaning you can't drink the water and have to bring water with you. The house was very comfortable and it was nice to drink coffee in the morning in the sunroom. There were a lot of extra fees that drove up the price. Not sure I would rent a place like this in the future.”

“Overall we had an amazing time! It is a relaxing spot and the pool was just what we all needed. The kitchen had everything you needed. There is shopping close for all of your needs! You do need to bring your own linens and the river was not passable for us to kayak down to the attached pond but it didn't matter because we had so much fun in the pool! Marie was very responsive and kind. We will be back!”

“Our stay was terrific!!”

“Everyone in our group (me, my sister, my husband, and my dog) thought this cottage was perfect. The kitchen was well-stocked, the living room was comfortable, the deck was lovely, and the view was gorgeous. Nearby Colt park was awesome; we went there several times and enjoyed the walks and the view. We ate at Flo's and Salsa Burrito, as well as Provencal bakery, and all were great. Overall, just a wonderful vacation.”

“This is our third summer renting this house. We love it! It has a comfortable setup for the two of us. Super clean! And my dogs are happy. Woof! The dock is a big plus. Looking forward to season 4.”

“Everything about my family's stay was superb. The accommodations were comfortable, the host had seen to it that everything we needed was there, and the instructions/communications were excellent. Our visit was during summer and we enjoyed the beautifully landscaped yard. The firepit (with s'mores!) was a huge hit with the kids. I'm sure that no matter what season you came, your visit would be as wonderful as ours!”
