Our adult boys shared the upstairs loft and our dog (Nelson) settled in nicely, especially the dock overlooking the beautiful sunset views over Lake Huron! Close to Lexington and other quaint small towns with lots of great eateries including the Pepperoni Cow (pizza and shakes), Daybreak Cafe (breakfast), Lakeshore Smokehouse (BBQ), The Cadillac (dinner) and more! “This was our annual girls trip. We have 7 in our group and the Anchor House had plenty of bedrooms and plenty of space. We enjoyed the fire pit and the lovely view. We would definitely stay here again! Location was perfect!”

We spent all day on the couch, listening to the sound of the waves and our dog absolutely loved the freedom of the fenced in yard. We will definitely keep this place on our radar to visit again!”

“Well taken care of and very clean. I didnt noticed the place was 2 different buildlings, but the main house is where we stayed with our Doberman. She got a lot of workouts with the stairs to the beach but had so much fun, and so did we. Very private and right off the main road5 of 5 stars, but if they clear the brush to open up the view, they could probably double the charge for this place. ”
