“We wanted a little get away close to home, where we could bring our grandkids so they could fish. We stayed for 4 nights and the kids were up and ready to fish off the dock every morning. We caught 6 catfish and a few brim which we cleaned and cooked for supper one night. The kids were funny when we told them we were eating the fish we had caught, my grand daughter swore it was not the same fish because they weren't gray and brown we I cooked them. They were inside so didn't see when their……

“Beautiful home on the river. Property was clean and well maintained. Owners quickly resolved a few small issues we had. Communication was great before and during stay. Perfect location between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. ”

“We had a blast! The house was more than expected! Perfect amount of space if your there the get out on the water or be outside most of your trip, it’s also perfect for a day or night in if that’s what your wanting! The view from the living area windows is awesome! The deck is spacious the dock is the perfect spot to fish a little and see the gators at night! If you have a boat it’s the perfect area to get your swap experience itched for sure!! I will say the lakes are rough if you don’t know……

“This was a beautiful place. The only things I think could be changed, is to have more seating in the living room. There is only 1-3 seater couch (2 if you have bigger adults), and a recliner. The shower in the master bedroom is a bit small, for larger people, but it was manageable. The place as a whole, was beautiful and would most definitely stay again, if I was to travel to the Baton Rouge area again. ”
