“This cabin is perfect for a small family with a car. It’s in the middle of everything. It’s a basic house but has everything you need- nice hot shower, cooking utensils, camp fire, etc. I still dream of the naps we had on the sofa. The surroundings are peaceful with lots of deer strolling by. ”

“Everything exceeded our expextations. The place was spotless. The road to get the rental was rough. You have to watch out for the pot holes but definitely not a deal breaker. ”

“This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again.”

“The Brewer street sign was obscured by branches. So we drove right by it at first the street looked a little sketchy, but it was clean and quiet. The residence was very nice. Our apartment was immaculate and the amenities plentiful. We had a very nice stay.”

“Home was perfect for our extended family of 9. It is quiet, spacious, and very accommodating. Cooked fresh lobster every night we ate at the house and not out. Great little, non-touristy lobster pound called Hodgdon's Seafood, only minutes from the house. Everything we needed to make us feel at home is here. We loved that we could reach most places on our to-do list within half an hour. Although, we did travel 2.5 hours to white water raft on the Kennebec. So worth the trip! We also recommend……

The 3 bathrooms, well-stocked kitchen and laundry machines made everything very convenient and enjoyable versus all of us being separated in hotel rooms. The owner was super responsive to all of our questions. Location is perfect as it’s close to downtown Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and is right by a beautiful river just down the street! Highly recommend this property. ”
