“Actually writing this review whilst sitting in the screened in porch on a cool and rainy May morning. We chose this house as a base for our long weekend explorations of Acadia and the surrounding area. What we didn’t realize was that the house is a destination in itself. “Spruce Island is an idyllic place and our host, Colie, a wizard. The magic began when Colie picked us up In the SeaLegs and transported us to the granite Main house. We opted for the full package, including having Colie as our Captain for the week.
