“The stay was great! The Konza Prairie Hike was beautiful! Love Mankato! Plenty of good restaurants close by. The home was nice, just as advertised. I would say that the only negative was that I wrote a nice “Thank You” note for the owners, which never garnered even the slightest acknowledgment. We listed a couple of small items that needed repair (certainly did not detract from the stay) - no reply. Other than that, a terrific stay! I’d rate the overall experience 4/5.”

“We had a wonderful stay for our family reunion! The home was a great place to gather—plenty of space, and the rooms were fresh, clean, and inviting. The kids were so happy with the pool and hot tub! Shaymond was an outstanding host—very communicative and helpful. He even stopped by personally to assist with the backyard lights, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this property for families or groups looking for a comfortable and well-cared-for home base!”

“The house was lovely, clean and spacious. However, we do have a couple of recommendations... The dining table only had 4 chairs in a house that sleeps 10 (we had 8). Please provide more chairs at the large table. The living room furniture was very uncomfortable. Finally, the patio only had one chair, which was too dirty to sit on. You need more patio furniture so guests can sit outside in the morning with their coffee.”

“My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at the Garden Cottage! We were there for 3 days while in Kansas City for business and it was the perfect place to unwind after many business meetings. The surrounding countryside is really peaceful and the gardens area is pretty. The pond is a nice place to sit too. All the appliances worked well, it was clean, and the owner was great at getting back to you quickly if you had a question. We had the farm fresh eggs and they were fantastic. If we come……

“We stayed with this host before when we came up to kc about a year ago for a trip to childrens mercy. we had another one today so we decided to book with them again and stayed in their other apartment to check it out since they were attached. Apartment was just as beautifu and as comfortable as the 1st one. Only thing we can complain about is the faint smell of pot from possibly the people who might of stayed there before us. Still give it 5 stars!! Becuase it was homie and very afordable”
