“We stay here every time we travel North, it is a convenient stop halfway up or down. I like the self check-in and cabins where you can park right outside. This was our first stay during winter season, and all was good apart from really icy paths outside. The roads were not properly sanded (a big SUV with studded tires started sliding!) and the porch was a deathtrap, someone can really hurt themselves.”

“I stayed in a glass igloo and it was amazing. The serene surroundings made for a peaceful stay. A moose passed by my igloo several times during my stay and I was able to get some decent photos of the aurora borealis. In the winter you can take a short walk across the river and see the sites of Jakkasjärvi, which includes the world famous Ice Hotel. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. The igloo, lounge, and shared bathrooms were immaculate. The provided breakfast was minimal but……

“The apartment is huge, beautiful, very traditional and cosy, the walk to the shops is 5 minutes, the kitchen has a full size fridge and all ammenities but you do need to buy milk or any other necessities, two supermarkets are easily reached walking. Check in is via email with the door code which is easy once you have the number. We wished we had longer to stay than one night.”

"1. I booked a double room, but the sink was in the bedroom. There was a strange sewer smell. I wanted to change room，but was told that I could only change to a single room, so I didn't change. 2 There is a bathtub, but it has only a very narrow baffle. Even if you take a shower carefully, water will still splash everywhere. 3 The price fluctuates greatly. The one we booked one month in advance is twice as expensive as if you book two days in advance. Other four-star hotels in the surrounding area do not have such a large price fluctuation"
