“The home is gorgeous and literally in the center of town. Easy to walk everywhere. Caroline arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the train station and we were met by Lucy who was wonderful. She sat us down with a map of the town. She circled and labeled things she felt we shouldn’t miss as well as places I told her we had things booked for. Dinner reservations were made for us and the recriminations were great. We opted not to have a full breakfast each morning but did have croissants and coffee……

“We thought we'd booked a hotel and were pleasantly surprised to find it a B&B. It's close to the highway but not in town and we were tired so we took advantage of the offer for an evening meal. The meal was what I have been expecting since I got to France. It was the best meal I've had in France. I can't wait for breakfast. The place is run by a nice, hard working, young couple who do a great job of making you feel welcome and comfortable. ”

“We stayed 4 nights there, the host & hostess showed their warm hospitality to us, made us feel like staying home & made Bordeuax special for us. We particularly liked the quality of the breakfast with the piano music background to start the day. Museum & shopping Centre are just walking distance, good enough for us to spend our leisure time in a raining day. We highly recommend this boutique hotel. The location is just walking distance from scenic spots & the tram & bus stops. From Bordeaux……

“Nous avons été très bien accueillis, endroit très calme. Petit déjeuner copieux et très varié : l'hôte est aux petits soins. Dommage que lors de la réservation sur Expedia, nous n'avions pas eu l'information sur la possibilité de dîner. Nous recommandons +++”

“Great location for walking around Bordeaux. Large room and excellent bathroom. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was excellent. Our only concern was that to reach the rooms you had to climb stairs with your luggage and as we had heavy suitcases it was not easy ”

“Very welcoming. Lovely grounds and layout for the houses/rooms. We loved our little 2 bed. We walked 25 mins to the local supermarket and then had dinner outside in the garden whilst our little one slept upstairs. All round, it was perfect for what we needed. ”

“Gentillesse, authenticité, belles prestations. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes qui ont fait preuve d'une extrême gentillesse. Corinne nous avait proposé une activité vendanges le samedi qui a été un vrai moment découverte avec pratique, puis découverte du chai et déjeuner en présence du propriétaire du domaine. Un moment très convivial et ludique. Son mari nous a également fait faire le tour du domaine avec plein d’histoires autour des différents éléments qui constituent……

“We had a very nice time at Anne Marie's place. She was really welcoming and helpful. Checking in and out was very quick and straightforward. She gave us great information about what to see and do on the area too. The location is very good, in a quiet place, but close to supermarkets and a few lakes with bars and restaurants. The accomodation was very clean and good. Breakfast was lovely and had a good array of foods: the traditional items expected for a continental breakfast - cereal, butter,……
