“This is a stunning resort, Properrty. It’s not quite a hotel but rooms that are extremely high-quality with a restaurant and wine tasting and vineyard and other things on site there isn’t really a bar in the evening that we found that she went to the restaurant. We had a free wine tasting at 6 o’clock, which I think they do every night, but I’m not sure as we only stayed for one night. We did buy some of the local wines that were produced on site. “Having read some scary reviews, we were a little worried - but it was not at all Fawlty Towers. The building itself is magnificent - it's definitely the tallest room I've ever slept in. The roses in the walkway - such a scent. The gardens have a well-tended, shabby-chic feel where you can see the grandeur of the original planting being colonised by nature. The menu is expensive but if you are at all foody, go for it. It was delicious. If you are more budget-orientated there's a bistro just……

“Séjour très agréable au calme. Personnel très serviable et à l'écoute. Peut-être juste prévoir un peu plus de vaisselle car il y a bien le lave vaisselle mais ce n'est pas utile de le faire tourner à vide ou presque. Mais vraiment c'est juste un détail. ”

“We loved everything about our stay - the room, the bed, the amazing selections and made to order items at Breakfast. ...and while it was a bit too cool outside to try out the pool, relaxing in the gardens and watching the boats and canoes go by on the river was one of the highlights of our trip. Ouafaa was the hostess with the mostest! We will definitively be back! We also loved that we could walk to 6-8 restaurants on the path from the garden for dinner - so nice not to have to drive and find……
