The outside covered wrap around porch was great for a morning coffee and quiet read before the kids got up. The house is so well appointed, anything you need you will find. “Lou-Anne & Rick are very kind, thoughtful and attentive hosts. Dexter’s pond and cabin is very clean, cozy and beautiful, being there gives you a deep sense of tranquility. My husband and I spent our 14 year wedding anniversary here and we just can’t say enough about it! It was a wonderful getaway we will not forget! We will definitely come back! ”

The cabin has a campfire, lots of batteries for charging, lights, battery fans, etc. There were many long walking trails with fun activities; like kayaking, axe throwing, a pizza oven… Exactly what we were looking for! “Very clean and cozy. There were plenty of activities both inside and out to keep us occupied.Kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to cook whatever we brought with us. Spices, coffees and teas were readily available. Children really enjoyed the kayaks, puzzles, loft and bunkhouse.”

“Living on Long Island for most of my life, and only really seeing stars once before, 33 years ago, I finally got to REALLY see stars again. We all had an amazing time. So much to see on the property that we hardly scraped what can be seen. I would need a real good ax and a month to get a good scope of the property. There was a nice spot to shoot too. Sucked picking up the brass, but it ain't my property, so we did and we got 98% of it up. Thanks Phil”
