“We had a great stay at this guesthouse. The location is in a very quiet neighborhood right on the Willamette River with great walking in the neighborhood. The home has everything you would need. ”

“What a lovely stay. The lake is gorgeous, host is kind and helpful, and the space has everything you need for a nice weekend away. Took my spouse here for their birthday and we enjoyed the hotub and visiting some South Sound Native-owned distilleries. Do recommend!”

“Nice house. Very nice location. A couple of things to note.• The listing showed pictures of the master bed/bath. These rooms were locked an not available to use.• The remaining rooms, two doubles and one twin. Would sleep five at most, not six.• The cable in the downstairs common room was disconnected so the TV was nonfunctional.• The owner stopped by (at least) three times during our stay. Once when we were there and twice while we were gone.This was a new listing so perhaps these issues……

“The House was a lot bigger than expected so much room to spread out. The view was fantastic, my wife is a photographer and spent the early morning on the beach taking pictures. It was close enough to town to be able to get groceries yet far enough out to feel secluded. Can’t wait for the next time we are in the Shelton area and need a place to stay. ”

The back of the home opened up to a deck and a large yard, which would have definitely been utilized if it wasn’t February! The owners were very responsive to our questions and needs….so much nicer than dealing with a property management company. We really enjoyed our time at Fern Hill!”
