Communing with the ospreys, hummingbirds and the bald eagle who perched numerous times on a nearby tree was an added bonus. And, the owner may be the most friendly/helpful we’ve ever rented from. “We adored this pet-friendly cottage that is right on the water of the Potomac. It is very nicely decorated, the beds are incredibly comfortable, the internet was fast and the TVs were all smart TVs with plenty of streaming options. “Quaint cottage by the bay. Short walking distance to small beach. Home was clean and had everything we needed. It was just my husband and I so plenty of room. We are older so hill down and back up to beach with a full wagon of chairs etc. was pushing limits but close enough to drive down to drop off and pick up. All and all was a relaxing time. We love this area of the bay! Thanks to our great host for providing this vacation for us. ”

“We had a short stay after a sporting event in DC, it was a little less than an hour away. Convenient location and a very clean house. Kitchen was well stocked. There was little communication with the owner, which was nice vs a long list of rules, but we would have liked to know any of their local specific favorite spots or more detailed check in/check out.
