“This is a beautiful property and well worth a visit. Despite my train arriving after check-in, it was very easy to access my room. The room was a good size and very clean. The hostess is friendly and extremely accommodating. If you use public transportation, be aware that the property is near Pulpit Hill, so there is some steep walking. However, buses do serve this area, and you can get a taxi. I came to Scotland to hike, so the uphill walk was a welcome part of the trip. The house was less……

Die Einrichtung ist im alten schottischen/englischen Stil, ohne dabei verstaubt zu wirken. Die Lage des Hotels ist ein weiteres Highlight! Direkt am See mit einem grosszügig angelegten Garten. ”

“Perfect location walking distance from train bus and ferry terminals. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Wish we could have opened the windows but we were fine since it was cool at night. We will return!”

“Old hotel and not really clean. Hair on linen. The worst thing is no wifi connection at all because they are fixing it for days. The hotel should inform guests who want to book the hotel in advance rather than saying sorry after we arrived. Really bad experience as we are cheated.”
