“The comfort of the place is rudimentary but the experience is very special. To stay in a chickee in the middle of the Everglades for a night is an amazing experience. No windows, only the screens for the mosquitoes. No locks on the doors. Shared batroom. Listening to the sounds of the wildlife during the night, waking up with the sunrise is so nice! ”

“This is a somewhat difficult place to give an accurate review. We were given instructions with a code to enter our room. I attempted the code several times with no luck. I reread the instructions and the next paragraph (which I had not read) said to ignore the above instructions and go to the front desk. The front desk had a hard time finding my reservation and when he found it, he handed me a regular old-fashioned key. I asked for a second, he told me no. The room was straight out of……
